The Keycard PIN functions as a password for your Keycard. You can change it at any time as long as you know the current Keycard PIN.

caution
If you enter the wrong PIN three times, your Keycard blocks. You need to unblock it or perform a factory reset. Your funds are safe as long as you know the recovery phrase.

    Open the Status app and log in to your profile.

    Tap your profile picture >
    Keycard

    Manage Keycard

    Tap
    Ready to scan
    .
  5. 5
    Tap and hold your Keycard near the top (iPhone) or back (Android) of your phone to scan your Keycard.

    Change PIN

    Continue

    Enter the current PIN or use biometrics to confirm your identity.
  4. 4
    Enter and confirm your new PIN.

    Configure your device's biometrics (fingerprint, face or other) to fill in your password. If you want to enable biometrics later, tap

    Scan Keycard
    . Then tap and hold your Keycard against the back of your phone again.
