Rename your Keycard

Currently, you can only rename your Keycard on the Status desktop app.

You can name your Keycard to track which account it holds, and you have the option to rename it if needed.

If someone finds your lost Keycard, they can't see its name or the account name without knowing your Keycard PIN or PUK.

    Open the Status app and plug in your Keycard using a card reader. Allow the connection request if you see a security alert from your computer.

    From the navigation sidebar, click
    Settings
     >
    Keycard
    . Select the Keycard you want to rename.

    Under
    Configure your Keycard
    , click
    Rename Keycard
    .
  4. 4
    Enter your Keycard PIN.
  5. 5
    Confirm the wallet accounts on the Keycard and click
    Next
    .
  6. 6
    Enter the new name and click
    Rename this Keycard
    .
  7. 7
    Click
    Done
    .
