Some blockchains offer lower transaction fees than others. By bridging the same asset to a more cost-effective blockchain, you can perform transactions and interact with dApps at a lower cost. For example, if you have SNT on Mainnet, you can bridge it to Optimism.

If you want to exchange your asset for a different one on the same blockchain, see Swap crypto in Status Wallet instead. If you are unsure, see Choose between bridging and swapping assets.

  • In Status Wallet, you can bridge your crypto across Ethereum Mainnet, Arbitrium and Optimism blockchains.
  • You can only bridge assets, not collectibles.
  • You need to pay a bridge fee, which is automatically deducted from the amount you're bridging.

You pay the fee to the blockchains you're bridging between and the bridge service. For more details, check out About swap and bridge fees.

    Select the asset you want to bridge.

    Select the network you want to bridge to.

    Enter the amount to bridge.

    Double-check the details, then tap
    Review Bridge

    Slide to bridge
